Pebble Beach Systems Unveils Rebrand Ahead of 21st Anniversary

Bubble PR

Industry leader in broadcast automation, integrated channel and content management solutions heralds a new dawn for the company, renaming to Pebble

Weybridge, Surrey, UK , 22 October 2020: Pebble Beach Systems, the leading automation, content management and integrated channel specialist, has announced an exciting new vision for the company. Now trading as ‘Pebble’, the company’s rebrand will demonstrate the renewed focus on the company’s people, process and technology, along with the launch of a brand new responsive website ahead of its 21st year in business.

Pebble was launched in 2000 and, nearly 21 years later, stands at the forefront of the industry. From its unrivalled experience within broadcast automation, it continues to develop an extensive portfolio of successful solutions which have the flexibility to support a wide range of broadcast applications. Most recently, Pebble announced its next generation service-oriented technology platform, Oceans. Built for all clouds but equally happy on-prem, Oceans enables broadcasters to deploy, manage, host and upgrade their broadcast workflows and services from a single intuitive unified interface, now and in the IP future.

Built on the solid foundations of a dynamic team of developers, solution architects and expert engineers providing world-class support, Pebble is committed to maintaining and enhancing its excellent reputation for technical innovation, high reliability and exceptional customer service.

‘Discovering. Designing. Delivering.’ is Pebble’s new vision of the future – cementing its position in the industry as a leading developer and supplier of broadcast automation, integrated channel and content management solutions for TV broadcasters, service providers, and cable and satellite operators. Alison Pavitt, Pebble’s Marketing Manager explains the thinking behind the company’s new tagline:

“Now more than ever, it’s clear that customers and partners are looking to build ongoing relationships with suppliers. The foundations for those relationships are built from the moment they first engage, and they strengthen throughout the lifetime of each unique project until the customer takes their system on air and then continues to be part of the Pebble community, participating in user group meetings and refreshing their skills at regular training events. That’s why we’re proud to feature our “discovering, designing, delivering” message so prominently in our new branding. It reflects our commitment to building great relationships with our customers – it’s in our DNA.”

CEO Peter Mayhead said

“There are multiple reasons behind our decision to take the step to rebrand. The company has undergone a significant transformation in all areas. In addition to building on the strong financial performance in both 2018 and 2019, Pebble has communicated a clear mission and a strong set of values which we developed in a series of workshops which involved every member of staff. Our strength lies in our ability to leverage our people, our process and our technology to provide exceptional solutions to the broadcast community, and put simply, the old branding no longer reflected this. I’m proud to introduce our new look to the market today, and even more proud of the exceptional team at Pebble and their energy, optimism and drive, especially in this extraordinary year.”

  • I think this year 2024 is probably the most innovative, cutting-edge, head-of-the-curve MPTS that I’ve exhibited at so far. I think even compared to last year, attendees really know what they’re looking for when it comes to cloud, AI, virtual production, all of the buzz words, all of the emerging technologies, everyone’s really embraced it.
