MPTS unveils new brand and adds AI Media Zone for 2025
The UK's premier event for the media and entertainment industry marks the beginning of a new era with fresh branding and an exciting expansion to the gallery level of Olympia’s Grand Hall
London, UK, 25 September 2025 – MPTS (Media Production & Technology Show) today announced its plans to continue to be a driving force of innovation in the media and broadcast industry with an expanded line-up of content, networking opportunities and exhibitors unveiled for 2025. Returning to Olympia London on 14-15 May, MPTS will, for the first time, take place over two levels within the Grand Hall. The show will offer a new AI Media Zone that will feature exclusive content and suppliers. Moving to the gallery level will allow visitors to utilise the show floor more for networking opportunities, “work from anywhere” zones and a new café. The Media Technology Conference in partnership with SMPTE will also take place upstairs for the second year running.
The unveiling of the new logo and branding showcases the fresh outlook of the exhibition as it continues to grow, following a record-breaking year in 2024 which brought together over 300 exhibitors and 12,000 attendees from 52 countries. Having experienced rapid growth since the show first launched in 2016, MPTS has firmly cemented itself as the must-attend event for the broadcast media, production and technology industry.
MPTS is also excited to welcome many new exhibitors for 2025 including Dizplai, CETA Software, Spectra Logic and Yamaha. Making a return to the show floor, MPTS is pleased to welcome back Blackmagic Design, Jigsaw24, LucidLink, EVS, Canon, EIZO, HHB and HP, to name a few.
Visitor registration will open in December, but attendees can register their interest and be the first to receive event updates here - https://www.mediaproductionshow.com/registration
Charlotte Wheeler, Director, MPTS, said: “After seven incredible years of MPTS there can be no doubt that this is the destination for the UK’s creatives and technologists to unite and share in the future growth of our industry. Since 2022 we have also welcomed a larger international audience to the show, as they take advantage of our location in the heart of the UK’s content creation sector. This provides a unique opportunity for attendees to expand on their trip and meet other businesses in the UK, whether that is studios, post production, production companies, broadcasters or streamers.”
Visitors can access over 100+ hours of exclusive and free-to-attend sessions across eight theatres including Keynote, Production, Broadcast Technology, Post Production, Virtual Production, Audio, AI and the Media Technology Conference. This year, the Media Technology Conference will be open to all attendees to cultivate conversation and cross industry cooperation among M&E’s technology community. Sustainability remains a major focus and will once again have dedicated sessions throughout the programme.
“Now officially known as MPTS, the 2025 edition is set to be the biggest ever. The show growth has accelerated significantly in the last 3 years, and we provide an event that is open to all through free content, free registration and access to many of the industry’s best suppliers and service providers. Through our expansion we can deliver more content, as well as more space for meetings and discussions”, added Wheeler.
