Moov appoints new chief operating officer role
Mike Phillipson takes up the role later this month
Sport and events broadcast graphics company, Moov, has announced the appointment of Mike Phillipson to the newly created role of chief operating officer.
Phillipson, former ceo at creative agency group, Cogent and managing director of the event digital media services, audio-visual and interactive systems business, Blitz, joins Moov later this month.
Commenting on the appointment, Duncan Foot, co-founder of Moov, said: “As we enter our 21st year, our products and services has been growing steadily. Bringing in someone with Mike’s strategic, business and people development experience will help us to accelerate the growth rate. The key areas that we will be looking to develop are the sales and marketing, technology and product offer, the customer experience, as well as our overall operational efficiencies.”
Mike Phillipson added: “Moov has enjoyed phenomenal growth over the last few years and these are exciting times to be joining them. The team has already built a strong customer portfolio and I am looking forward to playing my part in continuing in its success.”
