Hybrid Studio Design in the New Remote World

16 May 2024
Broadcast Technology
This panel investigates several case studies to explore post production studio design, examining new industry requirements to embrace remote working, enhanced mobility, and how we redefine the significance of physical studio spaces in a contemporary landscape where the ability to work from anywhere is increasingly coveted by both employees and clients. The key considerations of location, studio number and size, equipment, security, staffing, and client services will be examined and discussed. Speakers will share their insights learned from their own experiences navigating such challenges, offering valuable perspectives on the challenges they encountered and the invaluable lessons learned along the way. Speakers will share behind-the-scenes and dynamics in their own approaches to facility design and their arrived-at strategies and operating tactics. Through these case studies and the exchange of insights between speakers, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how to adapt and innovate within the rapidly evolving work practices and expectations

  • The atmosphere at MPTS has been amazing this year. MPTS is definitely one of the industry’s most diverse shows, if not the most diverse, both in terms of attendees and panelists. A huge amount of work goes into making sure that there is equal representation across an extensive conference programme.

  • I think this year 2024 is probably the most innovative, cutting-edge, head-of-the-curve MPTS that I’ve exhibited at so far. I think even compared to last year, attendees really know what they’re looking for when it comes to cloud, AI, virtual production, all of the buzz words, all of the emerging technologies, everyone’s really embraced it.
