The inaugural Media Production Show has been hailed a success by exhibitors and attendees, with almost 5,000 visitors attending the two-day event.
The Media Production Show, which took place on 9/10th June at the Business Design Centre in Islington, featured an exhibition of kit and services from over 100 companies as well as a seminar programme that covered pre-production, production and post-production.
Over the two days some 4,986 visitors attended the show.
MBI event director Charlotte Wheeler said: “For a launch show in the creative media space the visitor levels at last week’s event were incredible.
“The vision of the event, to bring creativity and technology together, resonated with thousands of people and the feedback from visitors, speakers and exhibitors has been phenomenal".
Next year’s show will move to a new venue: the Olympia exhibition and conference hall in Kensington, London. So far, 55% of the available stand space for the 2017 show has already been sold.
Wheeler said the move would allow for a larger exhibition with more companies showcasing a greater variety of services and kit with bigger seminar theatres on the show floor.
“This year has been a brilliant launch pad for the event and we look forward to bringing even more of the same to Olympia next year.”
We will be back next year so make sure you save the date: 13 & 14 June 2017 at Olympia.
